Veolia will be showcasing its top-performing technical sustainable water solutions to be used for the industrial, municipal and wastewater sectors. Emmanuel Gayan, Veolia Water Technologies Executive Vice-President for Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific, said: “We believe the Oman Energy and Water Exhibition is an excellent gateway that gives us the opportunity to launch new products, address inquiries and showcase some of the latest desalination, water and wastewater solutions.

“Veolia has been operating in the Middle East for 20 years and has approximately 4,000 employees in the region. This conference will be a significant platform for us to further strengthen our brand awareness in Oman and to emphasize our commitment to the development of the country,” Gayan added.

The Oman Energy and Water Conference 2015 speaker panel includes Veolia water and energy experts along with world leaders, international policy makers, industry leaders, investors, experts, academia, intellectuals and journalists who will discuss practical and sustainable solutions to future energy challenges.

Richard Burd, Senior Hydraulic Expert for Seureca – Veolia’s international consulting engineering group – will be speaking on the ‘Master Plan for Oman’s Water Sector 2012 / 2040’ and Thierry Regad, Project Director, SCADA and Automation Expert for Veolia, will be conducting a session on ‘National SCADA Master Plan for Water Network’ on 19 May 2015.
This conference gives Veolia the opportunity to discuss real issues and solutions to the energy and water challenges and opportunities in Oman. The main focus is to discuss techniques to improve collaboration among local key public and private sectors to share essential information and to forge joint initiatives in order to achieve a sustainable future.
